I am a thirty-something, stay at home, homeschool mom of six kiddoes. I
have been married to Paul since 1999. My focus on this
blog is to share wholesome stories and encouragement for Christians.
I struggle with a chronic illness that is a combination of many factors (hypothyroidism, fibromyalgia, adrenal fatigue and more). I have battled with this disability since its onset in winter of 2007/2008. Every fall and winter the fatigue is overwhelming. The pain can be excruciating (but I found a supplement that got me through last winter mostly pain free but I still had extraordinary fatigue.) We have ruled out many diseases and conditions, leaving hypothyroidism, fibromyalgia and vitamin D deficiency to share the blame.
This blog is not so much about my battle with disability as it is about all of us struggling through our hard times. Hanging on to that seed of promise and planting it firmly in our hearts...praying that it will bloom and harvest into great hope.
My prayer is that the readers of this blog will walk away encouraged. Just think of this as my home and we are sharing a cup of something warm and tasty to drink. My hope is that you will leave more encouraged than when you first came in and sat down. So- sit back, relax ... I'll tell you a story.
